So about a year ago, I was in L.A. and they had these Bird scooters there. Scootays, as we say back home and I really wanted to give it a try. And they were literally, they were disregarded all over the streets in Santa Monica Beach.
On Venice Beach, they were everywhere and I must have gone through about 10 of them and they were all unlooked after. They were not charged at all and I was a bit disappointed.
I never got an opportunity to get on top of one of these scootays and have some fun with it. And I thought I missed the opportunity. Then the strangest thing happened.
It came to my doorstep, it came to my yard, it came to my city, to Toronto that I could ride these, that I could play with these, that the opportunity was not missed.
